As a Baptist church we are congregationally governed with the members calling our pastor, also electing leadership to take care of ministry matters and appoint ministry leaders; as well as deacons to look after management matters. Rob came to the pastorate at Birkenhead Baptist in 2011 from a background in supply chain management. He brings a focus on biblical teaching, pastoral care as well as organisational vision to our church. Rob is married to Melissa with their young adult children Gemma, Samantha (recently married) and Miles all part of the church.
